Consulting Manager | Financial Crime and Managed Services Technology

Job Description & Summary

PwC Poland’s FCU Technology team is made up of about 100 IT specialists. The financial service industry operates in a challenging environment due to global economic pressure, increasing regulatory and capital requirements, and significant operational and technological changes. As FCU Technology, we deliver innovative technology solutions, data analytics and consulting services to PwC’s global clients, addressing key challenges in the area of Anti Financial Crime (Anti Money Laundering, Combating Terrorism Financing, Fraud Risk Management, FATCA, implementation of financial sanctions, etc.).

We are looking for:
Consulting Manager – Financial Crime and Managed Services Technology 

Your future role:Primary focus: Market Development and Sales 

Identify and assess the needs and requirements of internal and external clients,

Develop commercial proposals and lead the end-to-end sales process,

Recognize business opportunities and propose tailored solutions to address the identified needs/requirements, leveraging both existing and new technology solutions, as well as relevant external technological tools and offerings, 

Establish and maintain strong relationships with Clients and internal PwC stakeholders  drawing on proven experience and expertise in the implementation of technology solutions (preferably within AML / CFT / Anti-Financial Crime, Managed Services or related domains),

Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the development of promotional materials,

Contribute to the development and ongoing refinement of technology product strategies,

Deliver professional presentations and live demonstrations of technology solutions. 

Secondary focus: Project or Service Delivery 

Execute key processes across the consulting project lifecycle, including risk management, contract negotiation support, contract drafting, budget creation and services billing,

Lead the delivery of technology projects (either stand-alone or as part of broader programs) — from solution definition, design and planning through implementation, stabilization, and ongoing service/product support. This includes cross-functional and cross-team collaboration, direct client engagement and regular reporting to senior client stakeholders,

Potentially, take on additional organizational responsibilities to support the broad Technology team or product agenda - e.g. an (sub)offering owner, an organizational area coordinator or other. 

Apply if you have:

Strong prior experience of minimum 5 years in business and technology advisory / consulting in a market leading company (e.g. the Big Four professional services firms),

Minimum 3-year experience in Sales or Sales Support of technology solutions advisory services with proven success track record,

Prior experience in designing and implementing effective technology solutions for large international organizations,

At least 3-year experience in working with Clients from the Financial Services industry,

Experience in AML / CFT / Anti-Financial Crime area, Managed Services or similar will be a significant asset,

Proven ability to effectively operate in international, complex and dynamic environments with parallel or conflicting stakeholder interests,

Ability to breakdown and analyze complex business issues, shape relevant solution strategies and drive decisions based on the conclusions,

Proven ability to dynamically and effectively prioritize own and teams’ tasks towards successful results,

Practical knowledge of methods and tools supporting business analysis and identification of technology-enabled business process and organizational improvements,

Proven knowledge of project management frameworks, tools and practices (agile, hybrid, waterfall),

Communication: proactive and concise communication supporting positive relationships, experience in leading or facilitating meetings and presentations to senior stakeholders, excellent written and verbal English language skills,

Ability and eagerness to develop team members and share knowledge and experience.
