The Architect will work in the Services organization to help clients establish architectural vision and direction. He or she will help clients design, deploy, and migrate complex applications as well as work with software developers, consultants, and engineers to create scalable and repeatable solutions for partners.About the Team The Nutanix Professional Services team delivers a strong influence on the success of each Nutanix implementation by its customers. The Services function ensures success by engaging with customers in the pre-sales and post-sales stages by assisting in their software-defined data center (SDDC) strategy and architecture. Besides helping customers implement Nutanix products successfully, the Professional Services team, working with our partners, ensures customer success in fully implementing their virtualized and software-defined data centers. The Nutanix Professional Services Consulting function includes assessment, design, implementation, integration, and automation services as well as project management.
 Your Role As an Architect you will work closely with Nutanix Customers on strategic datacenter modernization and automation & cloud projects. You will produce best of breed technical designs incorporating Nutanix and complementing technologies. You will take technical leadership in the design and build of Nutanix and other Virtualization products with a key focus on simplifying and automating the IT landscape.
You are an advanced level virtualization technology specialist, passionate about cloud technology. You have advanced competencies in infrastructure or network virtualization and data center operations.

Responsibilities:You will be responsible for leading workshops and consulting engagements with customersYou will deliver pre-packaged Nutanix consulting solutions in a timely and effective mannerYou will take ownership of business outcomes for virtualization & modernization projects through requirements capture and technical governanceYou will craft detailed design documents and perform hands-on implementation workYou will work with our project managers on project budget and all aspects of efficient deliveryYou will provide technical input and review to our projects in a pre-sales stageYou will advise and consult internal groups by providing accurate effort estimationsYou have visible IT Industry thought leadership on relevant topics related to enterprise IT solutions, Cloud based services and infrastructureYou can display commercial awareness by identifying future services opportunity within a project or customerYou actively drive practice activities such as development of standard methodologies, intellectual property captures and creation, quality assurance, and peer reviewsYou maintain current knowledge of the entire Nutanix product stack Desired experience & Skills:Experienced track record of managing and delivering Professional Services projects in Enterprise space.Hands on experience in designing and implementing virtualization technology solutions and large-scale IT migration projectsSound understanding of Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) concepts and implementationsValidated working and hands-on experience with Nutanix AHV or other Industry leading virtualization products (e.g., vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, vSAN, SRM, vCloud Director or vRealize Operations Manager) within large scale IT production data centersAt least 4 years’ experience in designing and implementing modern & scalable datacenter infrastructure virtualization projects in regard to compute, network and storageIntegration of Public cloud services with on premise technologies from Nutanix, Microsoft, VMware etc.Planning, migration and operation of Cloud based application in Hybrid or Cloud only configurations.A Nutanix NCP or VMware VCP (or higher) would be highly consideredIndustry Certifications for Datacenter and Networking (e.g., LPIC, MSCA, CCNA and equivalent)Good background in Windows and Linux systems configuration and migration.Knowledge of programming language skills e.g., Python, Bash, Go, Powershell… will be an advantageCommunication: Native English Speaker.
