We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilizing their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand.Liaise with other engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to understand and drive the product or service’s direction.Provide estimates for development efforts from design documents.Assign tasks to team members and provide effective supervision to ensure the delivery of projects on time and in budget with appropriate quality.Work with Finance users, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change.Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team.Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.Is responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions, internal control standards and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the Group’s standards of ethical behavior.Participate in intra-day and overnight (rarely, when called) support.Supervise the rectification of production system issues with the minimum disruption to the business.
