What you'll be doing
You’ll be joining CIBC’s Administration team, which is comprised of Legal, Corporate Secretary Division, Customer Complaint Handling, Complaints Management Program, Enterprise Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), Government Relations and Internal Audit. Collectively, this group enables CIBC’s core purpose: to help make our clients’ ambitions a reality by providing our business partners across CIBC with the expert support, strategic advice, programs, policies, controls, and governance needed to help build a relationship-oriented bank for a modern world.
As a Consultant – Process Improvement you will manage and create reporting for the Efficiency workstream of initiatives and projects from end-to-end. As a Consultant, you’ll lead stakeholders and business partners in the planning, assessment, development and implementation of strategies and initiatives across the CIBC Administration Functional Group. You’ll use your expertise in process and project management methodology to make recommendations for continuous improvements.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role .You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How you'll succeed
Improving Process Efficiency - Identify, develop, and implement routine operational process enhancements to increase the efficiency of the department.
Relationship Management - Maintain professional relationships with multiple partners and clients through excellent people skills. Communicate proactively with colleagues to plan and organize work across stakeholders. Consult with stakeholders to solicit their input into the development of new or enhanced business processes, and to ensure aligned operations and communications.
Project management – Outline project goals, terms of reference, resource requirements, and costs. Help create a resource plan that ensures all stakeholders have a voice on the project. Assess the efficiency of the practices and procedures used by a team and provide guidance that will continuously improve the project plan.
Teamwork – Help internal partners make informed conclusions about the development of programs, products, and services. Collaborate closely with teams as you work toward a common goal and negotiate deliverables and milestones whenever necessary.
Project coordination – Proactively identify anything that will take projects off schedule and find solutions to correct the problem. Monitor milestones, and ensure they’re completed according to timelines and budgets. Execute a project plan that is personalized for your team’s preferred mix of quality, time, and cost.
Reporting - Track progress and conduct analysis of data and reports. Support in the tracking and communication of performance metrics.

You have a degree/diploma in Business and/or a related field of study. It’s an asset if you have your MBA or PMP Designation.
You’re can demonstrate experience in People Change Management methodology, principles, and tools.
