Consultant- Payer Engagement
MCRA, an IQVIA business is seeking a strong Consultant- Payer Engagement to join our RHEMA team. The Consultant- Payer Engagement will be a critical member of MCRA's Reimbursement, Health Economics & Market Access (RHEMA) team. This role will be focused on payer engagement & relations, coverage, payment, and commercial market access.
RequirementsMonitor payer medical and reimbursement policies and coverage decision updates. Develop, implement, and monitor initiatives targeting payer coverage.Engage with payers to understand and manage expectations for additional clinical/economic evidence.Ability to clearly articulate the client's clinical and economic value to help support positive payer coverage to key stakeholders, including but not limited to payers, specialty societies, reimbursement authorities, and providers.Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, payers, etc.; resolves any customer requests in a timely and accurate manner; escalates complaints accordingly.Adhere to all HIPAA compliance policies.Ensure all work products comply fully with standards, policies, and mission of MCRA.QualificationsAssociate degree or higher is required5+ years of related experience ReqWorks willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline.Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques, related to one’s functional area.Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors.Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace.Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people and companies.Effective time management skills.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $75,400.00 - $188,600.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
