Accountabilities

As a Bot Configurator, you will be involved in the design, development, coding, customization, configuration, testing, deployment, and end-to-end support of automation-based solutions or Bots (Robots). You will build Robots based on the underlying architecture of Automation Anywhere, incorporating other Microsoft Technologies such as .Net and relevant client scripting languages. You should be capable of handling automation support-related issues and providing resolutions.

What you'll do:Design, develop, test, deploy, and support robotic automation-based projectsGather business requirements and develop automation solutions accordinglyShare a point of view to craft Solution Description Document and PQD or equivalent experienceSupport the Process Analyst in completing documentation throughout the lifecycleSupport the Process Analyst in defining and designing the solution along with other relevant activities, such as launch approvalConfigure the robot code, adhering to standards, modularization, scalability, and reuse of codePerform unit/functional testing, support UAT, and perform bot classification and validationConduct compatibility testing between RPA software and target systems within the scope of the automationPerform peer reviews of other configurator’s codeMigrate code to production and perform migration testingProvide Hypercare, training, and knowledge transfer to the Business Bot Controller & Bot Administrator TeamRe-configure code when required by a Change RequestDesign and develop testing and maintenance procedures and activitiesImplement industry standards, procedures, and guidelines for quality and delivery methodsIdentify bottlenecks/bugs and devise solutions to mitigate them. Motivate the team to meet tight deadlines and perform individually while working as part of a distributed teamClearly articulate and demonstrate value propositions to customers through consulting services engagementsTake ownership of issues from delivery or issue resolution or partner concern, as appropriateAbsorb technical information and communicate clearly to varied audiencesEnsure that applications are supervised and consistently deliver a high level of availability and performanceProactively identify and report improvements for the serviceArticulate business requirements into practical solutions and analyze automation candidatesEssential Skills/ExperienceTechnical Degree or equivalent experienceOverall 4 to 6 years of IT Experience (Preferably .NET)Hands-on working experience in Automation Anywhere and Certified in the sameCreate Technical specifications, Test plans, and support documentationSound knowledge of ITIL principles, Incident/Organizational change, and AZ Access provisioningGood Interpersonal, Technical writing, communication, and presentation skills with Senior PartnersPassionate about knowing the latest trends or developments in automation and adapting to the sameDesirable Skills/ExperienceKnowledge of any one Technology Stack such as .Net/C#/ASP.net or Java/J2EE or PythonBasic knowledge of Macros (VBA), vb script, java scriptFamiliarity with SDLC methodologies (Classic, Agile methodologies etc), UI Path, and Blue Prism (Or any other RPA tools)ITIL Certified or TrainedApplication knowledge related to Service Now, JiraResponsible for completing the Application Life Cycle plans for individual applications, which incorporate all attributes of the technology stack, to the required level of detailMain responsibility involves maintaining and updating all documentation associated with Robotic Solution DeliveryAbility to organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work independentlyStays abreast of developments in the area of professional competenceAGILE / Scrum Certified
