The Consultant is responsible for collaborating with the engagement teams in the design, execution, and delivery of research and analysis that support strategic business decisions for our clients. This position acts as a liaison between departments, coordinating efforts for the final deliverable including survey design, guide development, model structure and analysis.
This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Director, Consulting.
Preferred Location
This is a remote, home-office role and candidates located in the continental United States will be considered. For this position, there is a preference to hire in CST or EST, however candidates in all time zones would be considered.
Travel Requirements
Expected travel is 5-10% for this role.
Essential Functions
Identify and contact key market participants and conduct in-depth, qualitative telephone interviews covering market-related topicsUnderstand the client’s business challenges and project hypothesesAssist in the development of interview / discussion topic guide and other primary research toolsConduct secondary research about products, market segments, key market participants, and consolidate collected dataSummarize and consolidate interview feedback while cross-checking for consistency and validity of the informationAssist in the analysis of market demand data, inputs and assumptions Work independently on multiple projects at one time, with guidance from the engagement managerPrioritize tasks to meet established project deadlines, handle workflow peaksSupport preparation of detailed reports/ PowerPoint presentations (findings and analysis) to clients
Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills
2+ years consulting experience to include in-depth telephone interviews and secondary research projectsBasic Excel skillsProven ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

Salary Disclosure
Base Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000
This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors. Dodge Construction Network’s compensation and rewards package for full time roles includes a market competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped commissions plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
