Your Role

The Consultant, HR IT role will be a strategic partner and business relationship manager to the HR leadership teams. This partnership will enable the HR function to achieve its goals, drive the greatest leverage of our technical investments, enable innovation, and maintain Baxter’s leadership position in the market. 

To be successful, this role must engage with the leaders to build digital and technology understanding in the leadership team while collaborating on business strategies and outcomes to ensure the technology suite and roadmap will deliver the required business value. 

This role will act as a point of contact for the HR business teams and be accountable for IT stakeholders’ relationship to ensure alignment across IT functions and process fluency. 

What you’ll be doing

Develop value propositions and business cases based on HR business and Operation's needs.Be a strategic partner and advisor to the HR business and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) to provide the right technology solutions based on business requirements. Single point of contact for HRIT, partnering across various IT functions, including solution, data and analytics, and technical delivery to ensure the end-end solution is deliveredDemonstrate business knowledge and support the project deliverables to ensure business needs are met.Conduct interviews to understand HR business partner pain pointsPartner with Procurement and 3rd party vendors as needed for new solutions and enhancementsEstablish a vision and roadmaps for HRIS product(s) and provide visibility to HR business and operations stakeholders.Integrate input from multiple channels, including customer research, industry research/best practices and stakeholder requirements, into product priorities and requirementsCommunicate status, solutions, and concerns. Disseminate information in a timely manner within the team and across functions. Deliver presentations, facilitate, and address issues at all levels of management.Prioritize projects and features based on impact and alignment with the team’s long-term goals and strategyServe as a HR systems product owner and lead agile or SDLC based project teams.Design and implement solutions to solve highly complex technical and business problems.Design, build, launch and assess MVPs employing Lean principles

What you’ll bring

Management of business stakeholders and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) at all levels to align business requirements with HR technical solutions and employee experience expectations.Ability to work with cross-functional matrixed teams to deliver on a common goal.Interpersonal skills and development of relationships with team members, peers, leaders, and customers.Ability to evaluate, interpret and incorporate financial data into decision making process.Ability to work collaboratively with a variety of business, data science and technical stakeholdersStrong working knowledge of lean product principles and software development lifecycleFoundational project management skills (projects involving internal and external stakeholders) with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloadsAbility to work in a culture that thrives on feedback and seeks opportunities to stretch outside your comfort zone, with bias for action and completionStrong communication skills – written and verbalMust be process oriented and able to define and implement new processes and standards. Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or other related fields. MBA or MS a plusMinimum of 8 years of experience in Information Systems, experience in multiple areas of IT with at least 5 years of Workday Experience and remaining years of HCM domain experience3 years of experience in management, IT leadership roles.3 years of experience in Global HR implementationsProven ability to make sound decisions, build long-term strategic plansHands on experience in Workday Core HCM, Security. Integrtaion experience is must.Work with third party, HR Leadership Teams and/or business partners when issues are found; manage issues to closure.Identify, assess, and solve complex business problems for integrating the Workday cloud application with internal and external applications: Human Capital Management, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, Advanced Compensation, Benefits and Payroll (US and Outside of US).
