What You’ll Be Doing
The Consultant, Performance Management Data & Analytics will be accountable for the requirements elicitation and clarification, business analysis documentation, operational support, dataset quality assurance, analysis of performance measurement data quality and data integrity ongoing results, ad-hoc second level support for data inquiries, and validation of variance and production incidents in partnership with business and technology teams.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
How You’ll Succeed
Data and Analytics Models Support – design and perform the normal operations of data integrity models for performance reporting and analytics datasets; support data inquiries based on requirements analysis, resolve incidents consulting with peers, business and technology partners; provide analysis results walkthroughs to the team; and support unit testing.
Data Quality and Integrity – partner with other team members to perform data quality and integrity checks for all testing phases; provide first and second level support for variance tracking and investigations, and document the resolution following internal guidelines.
Business and Technology Partnership – interact with business and technology partners for clarification of business needs, and work with the intake management team to ensure clear, concise, and complete documentation for data support.
Who You Are
You can demonstrate experience in data analysis, advanced Excel, basic VBA and Oracle SQL, ability to update tables and views, and execute processes with dynamic conditions. It’s an asset if you have end-user knowledge of Alteryx, Tableau, Essbase, and MS Office advanced/automated macros, and you have an ability to work interchangeably in waterfall and agile environments.
