What IT Strategy and Portfolio Management contributes to Cardinal Health
IT Strategy and Portfolio Management is responsible for the creation of IT Strategy for their relevant area, maintaining the multi-year strategic IT investment plans and ensuring that proposed projects are accompanied with solid business cases, prioritized and funded with close alignment to the overall Business and IT strategy.
Contributes to and leads the creation of multi-year strategy(ies), roadmap(s) and investment plan(s) working with the various EIT teams and business clients and Strategy, Planning and Portfolio Director to ensure consistency and alignment within the segment.Understands and is able to clearly articulate the division's business strategy.Serves as the Lead of the Division/Area technology refresh investment portfolio coordinating application health and risk assessments, investment priorities, execution governance and quality reporting.Facilitates the prioritization of work across the division/area balancing the demand for work against Business and IT priorities, strategic growth areas, available budget and resources.Partners with finance to align budgets, spending, and repairs and maintenance with corporate-assigned targetsensures that forecasting and reporting is appropriate and accurate.Acts as a value-add resource to lead clients in the process of developing high quality business cases and project charters.Collaborates with clients and project teams to implement benefit tracking and reporting to ensure that IT investments are delivering on their expected/committed value proposition.Develops capacity planning for an organization, as needed, and co-relates it to the portfolio demand.Qualifications
