Job Title: Consultant- (ERP Peripheral apps)
Job Summary: The Consultant (ERP Peripheral apps) is responsible for the management and maintenance of essential third-party software that interfaces with Baxter’s ERP solutions. This includes testing and documenting solutions developed by the team, providing architectural-level support, and assisting in patching and upgrading the third-party software. Requires the ability to work effectively on independent projects, in cooperation with a variety of stakeholders and other technical professionals across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical management of multiple ERP third-party solutions across the globe (DCLINK, Transforms, Easy Spooler, Image Now, Loftware, Appian Direct Route).Design and implement strategic system solutions:Technical architecture designsHigh-availability systems solutionsPerformance Tuning standardsDisaster RecoveryDevOpsAbility to efficiently manage tasks/projects with limited requirement information.Application Upgrades.Database upgrades/Migration.Application Migration.Leverage technology to reduce operational costs (load on staff and systems)Integrate Automation to meet advanced system requirements.Develop/Implement system standards to:Lower support costsSimplify system support efforts.Keep systems up to date with shifting requirements (security, patches, etc..)Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, business analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders.Vendor Management.Periodic reviews.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Design, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience is required.10+ years of industry experience in service development, successfully shipping services through multiple releases.Comfortable driving complex server & client architecture across large product teams.Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in a dynamic/agile environment.A passion for improving engineering practices and producing high-quality software.Self-motivated and customer focused.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to coordinate multiple concurrent projects and prioritize internal requests.Good team player, able to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities.Equal Employment Opportunity
