You will be at the forefront of ensuring that our software platforms meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance, through setting up and growing Application Test Factory in terms of people, processes, and tools. As an Application & Test Manager, you will use your expertise to define test strategies, test specifications, test cases, and test plans based on design documentation, business specifications, and high-level designs. You will develop, implement, and execute processes to validate, track, and report on software quality and performance. Your role will include developing, executing, and maintaining automation test cases for acceptance, integration, and regression testing for different releases, modules, and technologies. You will also be responsible for leading quality engineering discussions and mentoring QA Engineers in debugging, planning, and domain expertise. **Key Responsibilities** • Define and manage test strategies, test plans, and test cases for large enterprise applications • Develop and maintain automation test scripts for regression, acceptance, and integration testing • Collaborate with engineering squads and stakeholders to ensure validation of requirements • Lead quality engineering discussions and mentor QA Engineers • Drive efficiency through automation, integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of enterprise platforms through rigorous testing • Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues and support application delivery **Your future at Kyndryl** Every position at Kyndryl offers a way forward to grow your career. And finally, you’re open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others. **Required Technical and Professional Expertise** • 8+ years of experience testing complex software products for large enterprise customers in a fast-paced agile environment • Deep understanding of QA processes, standards, tools, and methodologies • Experience designing test automation frameworks, executing test scripts, and integrating testing into CI/CD pipelines • Practical experience in automation UI, CLI, and API testing • Experience with test lifecycle management tools and frameworks • Strong knowledge of defect management and software development life cycle • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills • Strong problem-solving and mentoring abilities **Preferred Technical and Professional Experience** • Familiarity with test frameworks like Selenium, Protractor, etc. • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Perl, PowerShell, Java) to create reusable automation scripts • Use of Test-Driven Development (TDD), SDLC, and Agile software development practices **Being You** Diversity is a whole lot more than what we look like or where we come from, it’s how we think and who we are.
