Join a leading firm in the marine construction industry as a Construction Technical Foreman, where your expertise will drive safety and efficiency on offshore projects.

Role Overview

Project Execution: Provide input and review safety, quality, and construction plans; ensure projects are appropriately staffed. Daily Reporting: Report project status, work plans, and issues to the Project Manager and Constructor Supervisor. Contractor Performance Monitoring: Oversee contractor performance and coordinate discussions on project issues. Construction Coordination: Organize regular meetings with contractors for effective planning and execution. Work Pack Development: Ensure timely creation of high-quality construction work packs for each project phase. Safety and Compliance: Implement safety, security, quality, schedule, and cost objectives during construction. Contractor Interface: Maintain daily communication with contractors to ensure alignment with contract obligations. QA/QC Oversight: Ensure required QA/QC systems are in place and adequately staffed. Incident Reporting: Document and report construction lessons learned and incidents for continuous improvement. Project Closeout: Ensure effective project closeout and submit contractor evaluations.

Skills & Qualifications

Offshore Construction Expertise: Strong background in offshore construction and commissioning. Marine Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with marine construction processes and standards. Safety Regulations Compliance: In-depth understanding of safety regulations and practices. Technical Specification Adherence: Ability to interpret and enforce technical specifications and drawings. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage contractor relationships effectively. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills for addressing project challenges.

Education & Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred. Certifications: Relevant safety certifications (e.g., OSHA) are advantageous. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in offshore or marine construction supervision.
