Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity 

Our Infrastructure Delivery team is seeking an experienced Construction Supervisor to oversee the delivery of a high-spec new-build airstrip terminal at Seghe Airport. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a significant aviation infrastructure project, located in the Solomon Islands.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing subcontractors, ensuring Health & Safety protocols are adhered to, and maintaining programme integrity.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position forecast to end in August 2026. The successful candidate will need to be available to work a 5-weeks-on, 5-days-off FIFO roster, with flights, single accommodation onsite, and meals provided.

Suitable candidates for this role will have:

Trade qualified in construction-related fieldsExperience in supervising high-spec projects preferably within a contracting organisationEssential to have multi-discipline building experience and ability to oversee construction from ground up to final completion.Demonstrated ability to manage, coordinate and direct subcontractors and suppliers effectivelyStrong verbal and written communication skillsCommitment to Health & Safety best practices and initiativesProven success in delivering high-quality, productive, and safe work while maintaining environmental integrityPrevious experience working in remote, tropical locations and managing local subcontractors is advantageous
