Position Overview
The Superintendent will oversee all aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires close collaboration with project managers, subcontractors, and clients, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to guide the construction team.
Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage daily operations on construction sitesEnsure compliance with safety regulations and building codesCoordinate and supervise subcontractors and laborersMonitor project progress and make adjustments as neededCommunicate with clients and project stakeholders regarding project statusConduct regular site inspections to assess progress and quality of workPrepare and maintain construction schedules and budgetsOversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for constructionQualificationsProven experience as a Superintendent in the construction industryStrong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building codesAbility to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specificationsExcellent leadership and communication skillsExperience with commercial construction and tenant improvement projects preferredFamiliarity with medical facilities and tilt-up construction is a plusBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
