Job Description
The Construction Superintendent will oversee construction projects for a general contractor and construction management company. The role involves planning, organizing, and managing project tasks by supervising field staff and sub-contractors, ensuring project safety and quality. The Superintendent will monitor construction activities from inception to completion and will serve as the main communication link between trades, disciplines, clients, and office leadership. They will report directly to the Project Manager and Construction Director using a daily reporting log and proactive communication. The projects include multifamily spaces, industrial, and other commercial projects.

The individual will work onsite with construction projects located within 35 miles of Grand Rapids. The company offers a smaller, high-performing team environment where employees are valued and not overlooked. The firm functions as an owner’s representative, construction manager, and developer, providing opportunities for professional growth and learning. Mileage expenses are negotiable.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.87 - $52.88/hr.
