Construction Site Superintendent
JSG, Inc. is currently seeking a Site Superintendent/Project Engineer (HVAV) in McAllen, TX. 

Job Description:
Drives project management for technical and process improvement projects. Responsibilities include developing productivity tools, managing documentation, tracking schedules.

Job Title: Site Superintendent/Project Engineer
Location: McAllen, TX
Pay $75/hr

Job Responsibilities.
• The Site Superintendent is responsible for managing the installation of commercial HVAC equipment within various vertical markets, positively representing the company in all client and architect/engineer interactions

• Work with end-users, sales staff, and prime contractors to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and deliverables
• The Site Superintendent helps oversee and communicate project progression from inception to completion, including design, permits, material delivery, labor schedules, and field installation.
• Develops a comprehensive project plan to meet schedules and budgets. Conducts Work in Progress meetings
• Expected to develop working knowledge with Building Automation Systems (BAS) systems; Carrier i-Vu knowledge is a plus
• Understands and follows all published codes, standards, and unique project specifications
• Conveys a sense of professionalism, fairness, and concern for customers, labor, and management
• Negotiate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Accurately forecast revenue each month by reviewing each project to estimate the value of work completed each month correctly
• Execute all major functions required for project management, including project initiation, project planning, project execution, project monitoring, and project close-out
• Manage the Change Order process, assuring that scope creep does not occur
• Assure that all projects will be managed to or exceed the percentage of booked project margin
• Assure that job safety is priority on every project.

Basic Qualifications:
• H.S Diploma
• 10+ years of experience in project management or 3+ years project management in mechanical installation or building automation or electrical installation or construction field.
• Must be able to read blueprints, structural drawings and understand complex building architectural, mechanical, and electrical documents.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Associates Degree in electrical engineering or project management
• Experience and/or certification in BACnet; or LEED certification
• PMP certification or working towards PMP Certification.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize among assignments with a strong adherence to deadlines.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, both with internal and external customers.
