Job Title: Construction Site Contracts Manager Job Description The role of a Construction Site Contracts Manager is crucial in supervising and coordinating the activities of production and operating workers. This position involves implementing measures to motivate employees, improving production methods, enhancing equipment performance, ensuring product quality, and optimizing efficiency. Responsibilities + Implement measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency. + Review operations and consult with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems. + Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems, analyze production quality control, and maintenance to detect production issues. + Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff and resolve personal grievances. + Set and monitor product standards to ensure the quality of finished products. + Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records. + Engage in hands-on activities including preparing RFPs, attending meetings, and providing input in systems such as Compass. + Focus on better preparation for execution of project management and work. + Contribute to business strategy regarding special projects and development. + Facilitate communication and understand RFP requirements, procurement experience, and discuss items with vendors. + Manage contracts effectively and lead retrofits and special projects. + Proactively manage projects, timelines, and act as a leader for initiatives under their scope. + Ensure projects are delivered on time, raising issues or concerns proactively. + Interact with key and stakeholders to gather data and information from project teams. Essential Skills + Contracts Administration – 10+ years of experience. + Construction Experience – 10+ years of experience. + Procurement experience – 10+ years of experience. + Verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills. + Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. + Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods. + Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. + Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree in business or related field preferred. + Any PM certifications are beneficial but not required. + Attitude and behavior during the interview process are important, especially the ability to articulate leading a project. Work Environment The work environment involves a standard Monday to Friday schedule, totaling 40 hours per week. The position requires the candidate to work within the sponsor's timezone, either PST or MST. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $78.00 - $88.00/hr.
