GFT is seeking a Construction Scheduler to join our Construction Services Team in New York, NY. This role requires regular attendance in New York, NY.

What you’ll be challenged to do:

 

As a Scheduler, you’ll play a key role in planning and tracking progress across a range of construction projects including in-unit kitchen and bathroom renovations, MEP system upgrades, elevator replacements, and phased work that may involve resident relocations. Your ability to analyze complex schedules, identify potential delays, and communicate clearly with all project stakeholders will be essential to the success of our work with NYCHA. You’ll help ensure projects remain on track by conducting detailed schedule reviews, preparing time impact analyses, and providing the documentation needed to support claims and resolve issues.

 

In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following: 

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6Conduct thorough schedule reviews and analyze critical paths and floatPrepare time impact analyses (TIAs) and supporting documentation for delay claimsGenerate reports on schedule performance and issues affecting project progressCommunicate schedule findings and risks to internal teams and external stakeholdersCoordinate scheduling activities with project managers, superintendents, and design consultantsLead and participate in scheduling meetings with contractors and client representativesEnsure schedules reflect the scope of work, phasing requirements, and any resident relocation plansMonitor updates and revisions, evaluating their effect on overall project timelinesSupport dispute resolution efforts through schedule-based documentation and analysis

What you’ll bring to our firm:

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum 10 years of experience in construction scheduling for multifaceted projectsPrior or current experience working with NYCHA projects is requiredProven track record with projects involving kitchen/bath renovations, MEP upgrades, elevator work, and phased construction with tenant relocationStrong proficiency with Primavera P6Familiarity with Acumen Fuse is a plusAbility to perform and present detailed schedule reviews and TIAsExcellent written and verbal communication skills to explain scheduling issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExperience leading meetings and coordinating across cross-functional project teamsDetail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities under deadlines

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
