About the Role:
ERM is seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Construction Safety & Occupational Safety Consultants for data center construction projects in the Osaka area. This role offers a hybrid work model, combining on-site and remote work. Key Responsibilities:
Provide safety consulting for IT industry construction sites.Oversee and manage safety protocols for large-scale construction projects.Monitor construction workers’ adherence to work procedures, regulatory standards, and contract requirements.Conduct safety inspections and assessments, identifying risks and recommending improvements.Prepare technical reports and deliverables to ensure clear communication with stakeholders.Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on experience in construction management and safety oversight.Background in IT facility, commercial building, or large-scale construction projects.Native-level Japanese proficiency.Basic business-level English skills (reading technical documents, writing reports, and basic conversation).Ability to work on-site several 3days a week.Preferred Skills & Experience:
Strong communication and presentation skills for external stakeholders.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively.EHS certifications in construction safety (e.g., First-Class Hygiene Manager, Safety and Health Promoter).Previous EHS experience in data centers, manufacturing, or semiconductor industries.Experience in English-language meetings and client interactions.Who We Are:
