Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Safety Coordinator - Construction to join their team. As a Safety Coordinator, you will be part of the safety department supporting various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Safety Coordinator - Construction

Location: Niagara Falls, NY

Pay Range: $45.00 - $55.00

Shift: Days (08:00-16:30)

What's the Job?

Develop and implement safety policies tailored to demolition, construction, and commissioning activities. Coordinate with multiple contractors to ensure adherence to site safety requirements and conduct joint safety meetings. Perform regular inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. Lead investigations into safety incidents and ensure implementation of remedial measures. Deliver site safety orientations and ongoing training for all workers and contractors.

What's Needed?

Strong knowledge of OSHA and local, state, and federal safety regulations. Ability to conduct thorough inspections and risk assessments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in safety training and emergency preparedness. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
