Construction Project Manager - Remote
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage cross-functional strategic and construction projects within the retail sector. This role will be responsible for overseeing all phases of project execution, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. The position will support operations across Fredericksburg, VA, and Charlottesville, VA. Salary: $90K + Responsibilities + Develop project plans for all construction, remodels projects in assigned geographical area. + Budget, manage and communicate all projects to stakeholders + Bring all project in on time and within budget. + L ead cross departmental project teams and managing all activities i n a project life-cyc l e (initiation planning, executing/controlling, a n d closing) for projec t s that are across mult i ple depa rt ments o r associa te d with p r ocess improvement. + D evelop and r evise project p l a n s in cl u de time lines, i ssues, resources and dependencies i n co ll abora te ion with project sponsors and cross departmental + Active l y manage th e mi t igation of issues and + D evelop communicatio n p l ans and comm un icate appropriate leve l of information (status, issues, ris k s, decis i o n s ) to project sponsors and senior staff. + Facilitate decisio n making with project team members and stake h o l de r s at a ll l evels of the o r ganization re l ated t o project perfo rm ance, in c ludin g , but not l imi t ed to schedule , sco p e , budget , and resources . + T r ain, Coach, Mentor, Deve l op: + Deve l op p r o j ect management curriculum t o create a compete n cy at GPM Investments . + Deliver educat i on to associa t es + Coach and mentor associates on their projects and in their departments. + Act as a liaison within and between departments on project management and best practices. Qualifications + Retail construction experience + Project Management Certification preferred + Be familiar with construction methods and be knowledgeable of architectural, engineering, site development and design principals. + Training and facilitation background + Strong relationship management skills. + Strong organizational skills. + Works well in cross functional teams. + Strong coaching skills to provide training and development + Lean or Six Sigma knowledge, preferred + Demonstrated desire and ability to motivate others and achieve results + Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to all levels within the company Executive level presentation skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills + Ability to adapt to change and effectively communicate change + Strong organizational and documentation skills + Results oriented approach; ability to execute project plans + Knowledge of convenience store industry preferred + 5+ years retail construction project management experience. + PMP Certification GPM Investments, LLC maintains a drug-free workplace Requisition ID 2025-247589 Brand GPM Investments, LLC Position Type Full-Time
