Construction Project Coordinator – JLLWhat this job involves:

As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will hold a critical position within our regional projects team and be directly responsible for supporting the delivery of challenging corporate interiors projects for a financial services client. You will work collaboratively with internal teams, communicate customer requirements, and proactively manage project-related issues while facilitating effective communication between team members, project stakeholders and vendors to ensure all parties are informed of project updates and changes. With your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in project management technology, you will contribute to the successful delivery of projects by maintaining accurate project documentation, processing financial transactions, and ensuring adherence to vendor agreements and contracts.

What your day-to-day will look like:Facilitate effective communication between team members, project stakeholders and vendors, ensuring all parties are informed of project updates and changesMaintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, financial reports, and progress updatesProcess and record daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulationsWork with Accounting team members, communicating with vendors and clients, and serving as a liaison between Accounting and the Design and Construction teamsReview and process project budgets, vendor proposals/bids, change orders, and invoices within the Project Management financial systemsConfirm accuracy against the budget and/or contract to ensure financial complianceEnsure adherence to vendor agreements as it relates to contracts, affidavits & lien waiversSupport project teams with administrative tasks and coordinate project activitiesRequired Qualifications:5+ years practical experience in construction or accountingStrong verbal & written communication skills & meticulous attention to detailWell-versed in construction methodologies and strong understanding of the various stages of construction, from concept to close outAbility to think and work independently, demonstrate initiative, and collaborate effectively with multiple individuals on various projects to meet assigned deadlinesSoftware Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointDetail-oriented and organized with a proactive and self-motivated attitudeUnderstanding of financial processes and accounting principlesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Architecture, Engineering, or Construction ManagementFamiliarity with GMP contracts and other types of construction contractsExperience with PMWeb or similar project management softwareExperience with financial services clients and corporate interiors projectsKnowledge of lien waiver processes and construction contract administrationUnderstanding of change order management and budget trackingExperience with vendor management and procurement processesLocation:

Estimated total compensation for this position:

60,000.00 – 65,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
