About this Role

The Contract Construction Manager will be responsible for overall contracted construction management for General Building Construction Projects (Commercial/Light Industrial).  These projects can consist of new building construction or retrofit/remodel projects of existing facilities. The Contract Construction Manager will work throughout Southern California, supporting major client projects.

What You'll Do Responsible for, but not limited to, specification preparation, Request for Proposal, conduct job walks, review and recommend award, drawing and document review, distribution, maintenance and update of drawings, execute contract, process Field Change Orders, process/approve requests for payments, record and track progress, prepare schedules, coordinate/request line outages, coordinate/interface with local agencies and other utilities, supervise lead inspector, material personnel, safety and all regulatory compliance personnel.Responsible for developing, establishing, and/or implementing the construction management program requirements for the assigned Project Work. The work includes developing and/or maintaining the roles, responsibilities, and interfaces between the client organization and the Contractor(s).  This will include the management and administration of the staffing plan and the budget forecast for the Construction Work Scope.  Will ensure that all relevant construction and construction-related support is performed in accordance with the appropriate Project Labor Agreements.Long-term planning of construction projects.Accountability for cost, schedule, quality, safety, and systems integrity with minimal direction, continual change, and under time constraints.Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision and to communicate clearly both orally and in writing.Ability to communicate effectively and with impact, maintain positive working relationships, and exercise tact and diplomacy in dealing with multiple parties

 

What You'll Bring Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.Construction experience and/or Contract Management in related fields.Mastery level of technical and administrative knowledge. What You'll Get

Pay- $   60    - $  70      /Hourly *Depending on Experience
