Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead construction oversight for critical water infrastructure and facility rehabilitation projects, including pump station upgrades, pipeline improvements, and access and safety retrofits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction management, with the ability to manage complex scopes involving mechanical/electrical retrofits, structural rehabilitation, erosion control, and safety enhancements.
Primary Responsibilities
+ Lead on-site construction management services for water infrastructure projects.
+ Provide construction oversight including coordination with contractors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
+ Ensure project safety, quality assurance, schedule, and budget compliance.
+ Review and interpret design documents and specifications, particularly for structural, mechanical, and civil components.
+ Support field inspections for platforms, retaining walls, gate installations, concrete repairs, electrical equipment, and erosion control measures.
+ Track and report project progress, manage RFIs and submittals, and document field changes.
+ Coordinate construction activities to minimize operational impacts on existing facilities.
+ Participate in client and agency meetings to review safety standards, permit conditions, and technical compliance. Some travel may be required
Required Qualifications & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
+ California PE License is a plus
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in construction management of water infrastructure projects, including complex water and wastewater pumping stations and pipelines
+ Strong client and project management skills are required.
+ Experience with field inspection, contractor coordination, and safety compliance. Strong understanding of civil/structural construction methods and quality control practices.
+ Proficient with Microsoft Office.
+ Strong verbal and written communication practices.

+ Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record
+ Local to the Bay Area
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this position is $120K-160K. This will be dependent on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate
