We’re happy to discuss flexible working hours, patterns, and locations to suit you and the business. **What You'll Be Doing** **Job Summary:** To provide the organization with construction management support on projects above $20M at the Longview, TX site during all phases of the project. The CM will provide oversite to the EPC during scope development through the final completion of the construction packages. **Primary responsibilities will include but not be limited to:** + Identify construction execution plans and work sequencing plans + Take the lead on ensure all site permits are identified and obtained before start of construction + Project risk identification and mitigation plans + Schedule development and cost estimating + Material handling + Provide oversite of site construction activities + Ensure all site safety and procedures are followed by contractors + Conduct safety briefing before site work begins + Review lift plans + Communicate and report any safety concerns and/or incidents per site procedures. This position offers a highly competitive compensation package, including paid time off, health insurance benefits, and matching retirement contributions. **Ideal Background** **Education:** High School diploma or equivalent is required. Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Construction Science, Building Science or related field from an accredited university is highly preferred. **Licensing:** General Contractors License is highly preferred. **Experience:** This position requires a minimum 10 years of relevant industrial construction management or project related experience. **Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Ability to lead a small team to deliver on commitments. + Knowledge of the Hargrove project execution procedures. + Knowledge and application of company business standards and good practices. + Knowledge and application of company engineering standards and project controls tools. + Demonstrated proficiency in complex project management. + Ability to lead a team to deliver on commitments. + A comprehensive understanding of the function of all engineering disciplines, procurement, and construction processes. + Ability to manage client relationships in complex situations. + Ability to relate easily to others in the business community such as customers, suppliers, contractors, government, professional and trade associations. + Ability to handle stress with poise. + Understanding of existing and potential customer needs and preferences. + Ability to delegate authority appropriately. + Ability to clearly communicate expectations and requirements to team members and to structure accountability. + Ability to set priorities. + Demonstrated leadership ability with team orientation. + Coaching and mentoring skills and experience. + Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written. + Excellent presentation skills. + Excellent leadership and organizational skills. + Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. **Physical Requirements:** + Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time. + Ability to perform work outdoors in hot or cold climates. + Ability to perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment such as a fire-retardant jumpsuit, safety glasses, ear plugs and hard hat. \#LI-MM2 **Hargrove Culture** We work to create an environment founded on trust, personal integrity, and a “team mentality” so that each person understands the value of their contributions both on a project and company-wide level.
