A global leader in Engineering Services for the design, construction and operation of complex infrastructures and plants in the energy sector, both offshore and onshore. With five business lines - Asset Based Services, Energy Carriers, Offshore Wind, Sustainable Infrastructures, Robotics & Industrialized Solutions requires the expertise of a Construction Manager with LNG plants and/or civil works experience for the LNG project based at the Afungi Site, Mozambique.
Job Summary: Ensure the planning and management of the project construction activities, both performed by subcontractors or in direct hiring approach, supervising multidisciplinary construction works according to the contract requirements and project objectives. Ensure time, costs, quality, safety targets are met, through direct coordination and management of a project construction team, interfacing with project organization, subcontractors, suppliers and clients. Ensure adequate support to project management Team in defining, monitoring and updating project execution plans.
Key Responsibilities: Site supervision of subcontractor in charge of Tanks EPC project. Control and report progress on construction works. Coordinate concrete provision to Tank subcontract and other free issued services (logistics, transport, cranage). Ensure that HSE & quality procedures are properly implemented and followed. Lead works completion and delivery process (Quality dossier, Tank hydrotest etc.). Support PM with regard to contractual aspects.
Qualification and Skills Requirements: Accredited Degree in Construction Management. Must have at least 10-15 years of LNG Tanks / civil works in general experience. Preferably experience with other major EPC companies within the Oil & Gas industry.
