An innovative and fast-growing organization embarking on shaping the future within Mining sector. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager (furnace repair) registered with SACPCMP to oversee and manage complex furnace repair projects within industrial environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in refractory work, shutdown planning, and high-temperature equipment maintenance. This role will be based in Springs, Gauteng.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage all phases of furnace repair projects from planning to execution. Ensure compliance with SACPCMP regulations and site safety standards. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and safety officers. Oversee procurement, scheduling, and quality control for furnace-related works. Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
Qualification and Skills Requirements: Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. ACPCMP Registration as a Construction Manager (mandatory). Minimum 5 years’ experience in furnace repairs or refractory construction. Proven track record in managing shutdowns and high-risk mining / industrial projects. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
