GFT is seeking Construction Inspector to join our team for upcoming projects in New York / New Jersey. In this position, you will report to construction sites, ensuring that contractors' work adheres to contract requirements.

We are looking for Construction Inspectors for upcoming projects to join our growing team in the New York/New Jersey area. In this role, you’ll contribute to vital bridge, tunnel, and aeronautical projects, ensuring quality, safety, and excellence in construction. In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Must perform all testing/inspections in a timely manner and adhere to Gannett Flemings Quality Management Protocols (QMP)Complete daily inspection reports on a daily basisRepresent the client and Gannett Fleming interests in a professional manner and appearanceBe onsite during contractor work activitiesReport and take directions from the Resident EngineerWhat you’ll bring to our firm:
BS – Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering, preferredICC/NICET II, III, or IV Highway Construction4-10 years bridge, tunnel, and/or aeronautical construction inspection experienceOSHA 30-hrDivers license and ability to obtain high SWAC clearance, SIDA card and/or Custom ID.Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation skillsIn addition to night and weekend shift work, ability to stay late or come in early as needed.What we prefer you bring:
ACI Concrete Special Inspector, Work Zone Safety certifications desiredCompensation:
The salary range for this role is $55,000 - $124,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
