Construction Inspector

Job Title: Construction Inspector

Location: Seattle Metro Area (Onsite – Projects located between Tacoma, Seattle, and Bellevue)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week

Pay: (Depending on experience, certifications, and project experience)

ResponsibilitiesPerform daily inspections of commercial construction projects to ensure compliance with building codes, drawings, and specifications.Conduct visual and physical inspections across disciplines including structural steel, concrete, masonry, and fireproofing.Prepare detailed inspection reports and document nonconformance.Communicate findings to engineers and project managers; collaborate on solutions when needed.Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment.Follow strict safety protocols and perform pre-task planning.Assist sr. inspectors on large-scale projects and support project managers in developing scopes of work.Qualification RequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in construction inspection, specifically with post-tension and reinforced concrete.WABO certification required (Proprietary anchors, reinforced concrete, post tension, firestopping, structural wood preferred).ACI certification required.Valid driver’s license required.Experience with inspection equipment including nuclear density gauge and aggregate testing.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.DisqualifiersInconsistent job history.Lack of required certifications (WABO, ACI).No experience with post-tension concrete or reinforced concrete.No valid driver’s license.Employee Value PropositionWork on high-profile commercial projects in the Seattle Metro area.Minimal travel – projects assigned close to home.Supportive environment for certification advancement and career growth.Exposure to 480+ active projects weekly across diverse disciplines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
