Job Description

Are you ready to launch your career as a Construction Inspector for Roadway & Structures?

As a Construction Inspector, you’ll work under the guidance of experienced inspectors to perform essential inspections and documentation on roadway and structure construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting inspections of construction processes and materials to ensure compliance with maintenance contracts.Performing routine and moderately complex inspections of:Asphalt and concrete materials and mixesPavement spreading, rolling, depth, alignment, and compactionRoadway and structural conformance to plans and specificationsStructural materials, culvert placement, and foundational operationsTraffic control and erosion control devicesPerforming calculations and computations related to construction activities.Documenting contract compliance, including field measurements and required reporting.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: 

High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications: 

Experience and knowledge of roadway or structure construction inspectionBasic knowledge of construction materials and processes is a plusExperience with calculations and computations related to construction activities
