Project Engineer – Construction

Milwaukee, WI | Full-Time | General Contractor

Position Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support our growing team in Milwaukee. This role plays a key part in delivering successful construction projects by collaborating with field staff, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure everything runs smoothly from initial planning to final completion.

Responsibilities Include:

Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders in coordination with project managersContribute to budgeting, estimating, and procurement effortsHelp maintain project schedules, track progress, and identify potential delaysCoordinate material deliveries, logistics, and jobsite readinessDocument project updates including daily reports and meeting summariesAttend jobsite meetings and assist with coordination of field operationsMonitor safety compliance and uphold quality assurance standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field1–3 years of experience in commercial construction is preferredStrong organizational and time-management skillsFamiliarity with construction tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or equivalent softwareProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project)Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven setting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $45.00/hr.
