Construction Contract Change Manager

We're looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Contract Change Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based in our Bellevue, WA office, you’ll be responsible for leading, coordinating and the overall management of the change management team on multimillion dollar transportation construction projects. This is an on-site role that will provide the opportunity to directly communicate with the Construction Management team, the Construction Contractor, the project Owner and local agencies. Typical Responsibilities: * Familiar with contract change process and enable knowledge sharing with wider project management team. * Review contract language to identify scope changes and determine merit for contractor requested changes. * Assist with the development of multiple change orders and meet expected dates of completion and engage with stakeholders on a regular basis regarding potential contract changes and risk items. * Assist with change order cost estimates * Assist with Time Impact Analysis for changes where applicable. * Providing timely analysis of changes and claims and recommending appropriate negotiating strategies. * Assist the Construction Management Team with identifying potential changes and scope impacts. * Assist with developing change and claim avoidance and prevention strategies. * Provide high level change summary and assist client in negotiations with the Contractor. * Attend regular executive change meeting to present potential change orders and analysis to senior leadership. * ·Coordinating with Delivery Team on status updates. * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent work experience. * 4+ years experience in construction management * In-person role (not remote or hybrid) * Must be proficient in the use of computers to prepare reports using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
