The Role

The Construction Civil Engineer will be responsible for overseeing civil engineering aspects of construction projects within BAPCO’s operations. This role involves ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing site activities, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure solutions.

The key objectives for this role are:

Supervise and manage civil construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Review technical drawings, specifications, and plans to ensure accuracy and feasibility before execution. Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, API, ASTM) and safety regulations. Monitor material usage, procurement, and inventory to prevent delays and cost overruns. Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure structural integrity and adherence to design specifications. Implement and enforce safety protocols, ensuring a hazard-free work environment. Prepare progress reports, documentation, and updates for project stakeholders. Assist in troubleshooting construction challenges and recommending solutions. Liaise with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies as required.
