About the Role
New opportunity within our large Engineering organisation for a Test Engineer as part of a new opening position in the Connectivity Test Center. This role will be part of a new team based in Bucharest, which will work closely with the wider team. This is a newly formed team. Our goal is to build out our Connectivity Test Coordinating team operating from our strategic site in Bucharest, providing experienced and dynamic team members to support multiple roles across our portfolio of global projects. This is an exciting time to get involved, to help develop and shape innovative technology and drive change throughout the organisation.
What You Will Do
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other similar specialisation 7+ years of Testing experienceGood understanding of Embedded Systems and Automotive Products.Good understanding of Automotive Infotainment systemsUnderstand the SW and HW architecture of various platform variants.Have a good understanding of the technical aspects of a wide range of equipment, including computers, software, and hardwareGood knowledge and understanding of the different Telematics domains like OTA, GNSS, E-Call, Positioning, 4G/5G, WifiGood knowledge of Diagnose protocols UDS, SOVDGood experience in system test methods, processes, error management and toolsFamiliar with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and database administration toolsKnowledge of standard industry communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etcTeam player skills with a “can-do” attitudeUnderstanding about diagnosis topics of a vehicle and about diagnostic communication protocols used in electronic control unitsKnowledge of the V-model software development processISTQB Certification and ASPICE knowledgeProgramming knowledge is a plusBonus Points if You Have
Working knowledge of Android and LinuxExperience in Agile/SCRUMHW experience with configuring different setupsKnowledge in ALM is beneficial.Experience in Python testingWhat Makes You Eligible
Willingness to travel (0-20% of time), depending on the project necessities. Fluent in commercial and technical English High sense of responsibility Attention to detail and good analytical skills. Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.What We Offer
