Congress & Event Lead Belux (m/f/d)

 

We are looking for a Congress & Event Lead (m/f/d) who will be responsible to manage all international and national congresses & events for our Belgian Immunology & Rare/Epilepsy teams,  to be based at our HQ in Brussels.

 

About the role

 

In this dual role, you will be a key point of contact for the team and the external face to our customers to ensure an end-to-end process organized under Ethics & Compliance code, UCB code of conduct and Mdeon rules. This will require a dynamic and experienced project manager with a problem-solving attitude. In addition, a strong team player and working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders is required to fulfill this position. 

 

 

Who you`ll work with

 

The Congress & Event lead will be in contact with several internal & external stakeholders including the medical and commercial team, other cross functional teams, and HCPs.

 

 

What you`ll do

 

Management:Plan, organize, and execute all aspects of international and national congresses and events, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery.Logistics Coordination:Manage logistics for internal teams and physicians, including travel arrangements, accommodations, and on-site support according to internal guidelines/rules.Compliance:Ensure all activities comply with local regulations and Mdeon rulesRoadbooks: Develop and maintain comprehensive roadbooks for each event.Speaker Management:Coordinate with speakers, including scheduling, contracts, and logistical support.Invoicing:Oversee the invoice process, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

 

 

Interested? For this role we’re looking for the following education, experience and skills: 

 

Proven experience in event & congress management, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.Strong organizational and multitasking skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Knowledge of local regulations and Mdeon compliance.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Fluency in English; proficiency in French or Dutch is a plus.
