We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our client **Job Summary** The Infra Ops Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our infrastructure operations. With a focus on Kafka and related technologies the specialist will ensure seamless integration and performance. This role requires a deep understanding of RBAC Set-up JMX Kafka Connect and Confluent Kafka contributing to the companys operational excellence and innovation. **Responsibilities** + Manage and optimize infrastructure operations to ensure high performance and reliability. + Oversee the setup and configuration of RBAC to maintain secure access controls. + Implement and monitor JMX for effective performance management and troubleshooting. + Administer Kafka and Confluent Kafka environments to ensure seamless data streaming and processing. + Develop and maintain Kafka Connect configurations to facilitate data integration across systems. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure operations with business objectives. + Provide technical expertise and support for Kafka Admin tasks ensuring system stability and efficiency. + Conduct regular system audits to identify and address potential vulnerabilities and performance issues. + Lead efforts to automate routine tasks enhancing operational efficiency and reducing manual intervention. + Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement. + Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards in all infrastructure operations. + Contribute to the development of best practices and guidelines for infrastructure management. + Support the hybrid work model by ensuring remote access capabilities are robust and secure. **Qualifications** + Possess extensive experience in RBAC Set-up ensuring secure and efficient access management. + Demonstrate proficiency in JMX for effective monitoring and performance tuning. + Have a strong background in Kafka Connect and Kafka Admin with a focus on system optimization. + Experience with Confluent Kafka leveraging its capabilities for enhanced data streaming. + Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. + Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. **Certifications Required** Certified Kafka Administrator Confluent Certified Developer for Apache Kafka Why Cognizant?
