The Opportunity:
As a Unit Level Intelligence (ULI) Toolkit Configuration Management Specialist, you will have the opportunity to manage and control configuration management solutions to support the needs of the USAF Air Combat Command Intelligence Directorate, ensuring consistency, integrity and security of the system's components and their relationships throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for overseeing and improving configuration management processes, ensuring the quality and integrity of hardware and software configurations.

Responsibilities:

Lead and implement configuration management, version control processes and procedures

Conduct configuration audits and prepare reports for stakeholders

Draft, edit, provide input and maintain configuration management policies for hardware and software

Maintain configuration management plans and documentation

Format and maintain technical documentation and processes for support staff

Participate in the Configuration Control Board (CCB), including coordinating, scheduling, and facilitating meetings; provide draft agendas, inputs or meeting minutes when requested by the government

Qualifications:

Required: 

Active DOD Top Secret/SCI security clearance

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study

8 years of experience in configuration management (equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree)

Strong knowledge of configuration management tools and methodologies

Experience with change management and version control systems

Familiarity with ITIL 4 or later and Information Technology (IT) service management principles

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desired:

DoD 8140 IAT II Baseline Certification (Security+ Continuing Education (CE) or equivalent)

Experience working in Department of Defense (DoD) and Air Force

Configuration management certification (e.g., Configuration Management II (CMII), Configuration Management Process Improvement Center (CMPIC)

Familiarity with Agile and traditional project management methodologies

Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,300-$129,700
