Configuration Management and Product Structure Analyst

If you are a Configuration Management (CM) professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting role for you! Based in our Eden Prairie, MN location, you will provide Configuration Management and Product Structure guidance and expertise in the systems and applications required to support the Flow Solutions Mag and Vortex business.
**In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:**
+ Provide support and leadership for sustaining and New Product Development (NPD) projects representing CM in project meetings for assigned projects
+ Perform business systems readiness testing and generate project documentation per NPD project standards
+ Prepare and process standard and Engineered to Order (ETO) Change Requests (CRs), Change Orders (COs) and Change Actions (CAs) throughout the product lifecycle
+ Manage part numbers, conduct impact analysis (where used) and update Bills of Materials (BoMs)
+ Manage a variety of small projects for the group, centered around improving process times through the change management system
+ Develop and implement business system test plans, providing thorough testing for changes to be implemented
+ Provide end-user support to business team members and system users regarding Configurator functionality and PLM setups.
+ Assist in CM coordination for supported projects including coordinating discussions for changes to be implemented at our factories

You have strong personal interaction skills, are team-oriented, and can effectively handle multiple priorities. You possess strong communication & presentation skills across all levels of the organization. You are self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction. You have a broad knowledge of CM principles either through training with the Institute of Configuration Management or related experience. You understand internal and external customer requirements, expectations, and needs. You can run small projects from inception through implementation. You provide timely and helpful information to individuals across the organization. You reflect organization-wide energy and optimism for the future and give personal commitment to the vision.
**For This Role, You Will Need:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
+ 3 years of Configuration Management experience
+ Legal authorization to work in the United States
**Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:**
+ Project management experience preferred
+ CM2 Certification preferred
+ General knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite, and PLM Concepts
+ Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $104,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
