Bowhead seeks a new team member in their support to the Navy's Weapons Systems Munitions Integration and Hypersonics division.
The configuration management analyst will focus on configuration control, inventory, maintenance of the configuration database, and reporting of configuration status reporting for the Hypervelocity Gun Weapon System program.
Responsibilities• Maintain configuration management database.
• Maintain configuration status and provide reporting of status.
• Inventory management of government program hardware and software configuration items.
• Preparation of configuration items for test events.
• Support configuration control boards and processing of configuration changes.
• Develop and maintain program documents and standard operating procedures, program plans and briefings, execution reports, Technical Data Packages (TDPs), weekly and monthly status reports, other technical documents and reports, and a wide range of other Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) items, working closely with multiple authors and program sponsors.
• Coordinate classified and unclassified formal meetings and reviews, including coordination with senior program staff, sponsors, and partner organizations interfacing with the program office research, acquisition, and test and evaluation.
• Minimum of a HS Diploma
• Four (4) years of general experience which includes three (3) years specialized experience following and developing detailed procedures managing hardware, software, and system safety.
• Demonstrable experience using Microsoft Office Suite and web-based workflow tools and repositories.
• Experience in DoD programs a plus
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location.
Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
