This position will create, review, and analyze release and change data. This role will work closely with the Configuration Function Manager to coordinate interaction between engineering, testing, development, asset and change management teams to ensure appropriate changes are efficiently implemented. **Primary Responsibilities** + Ensures the integrity and accuracy of Configuration Information (CI) records are within Configuration Management Database (CMDB) + Populates database field to capture accurate data + Coordinates, facilitates, and assists with Configuration Audits + Supports coordination, tracking, planning, scheduling, and building components utilizing configuration management tools + Monitors and enforces desired configurations to promote operation efficiency + Performs reviews, develops processes and documentations to ensure integrity of Configuration Records within the CMDB environment promoting healthy CM + Solves complex problems, by taking a new perspective on existing solutions + May serve as a resource to associates with less experience This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. **Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in related IT field + Configuration Management, IT Service Management, Change Management disciplines, certifications or in a related field and three (3) years of relevant experience in Change/Release Management, CI/CD, automation, and DevOps + Or High School Diploma/GED and seven (7) years of relevant experience **Preferences** + Certifications within the Configuration Management, IT Service Management, Change Management disciplines, or related field + Experience with IT Service Management tools, Visual Basic, PowerBI, and Structured Query Language (SQL) **Skills and Competencies** + Ability to handle multi-stream requests, prioritize commitments, and manage time effectively + Ability to learn additional systems as needed + Ability to utilize automation to enhance workflow and processes + Ability to work autonomously, with moderate guidance + Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills + Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills + Experience with writing requirement documents and documenting processes + Strong attention to detail + Working knowledge of configuration management principles **Additional Skill:** + Strong knowledge of configuration management process, principles and leading practices. + Strong Knowledge of ServiceNow Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB) + Creating and implementing configuration management strategies, processes, and procedures. + Overseeing the configuration management process and CMDB tool, ensuring CIs are tracked complete and correctly throughout their lifecycle. + Working with various teams, including IT, development, and operations, to ensure smooth integration of configuration management practices. + Providing training and support to staff on configuration management processes and best practices. + Excellent communication and collaboration skills. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Knowledge of ITIL or other relevant frameworks. + Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and under pressure. **This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.** _This position is currently offsite and associates will work from their home primarily.
