**Job Title:** Configuration IT Technician **Location:** Germantown, WI **Job Type:** Hourly Consultant **Hours:** M-F 8 am - 4:30 pm **Pay:** $20/hr **Essential Functions:** + Configure and deploy a wide range of IT devices including Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS systems + Use SCCM, JAMF, Intune, Autopilot, and PXE to image and configure devices + Perform PXE booting and deployment of golden images + Configure network devices such as switches, access points, and gateways + Manage and prioritize multiple device orders (10+ daily) with accuracy and attention to detail + Document progress and updates in the Autotask ticketing system daily + Communicate professionally with clients regarding deployment timelines and configuration requirements + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all configurations meet client and project specifications + Lift and move boxes and equipment (up to 25 lbs) between 5 buildings **Skills:** + Proficiency in SCCM, JAMF, Intune, Autopilot, PXE booting + Familiarity with multiple operating systems: Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Chrome OS + Basic networking knowledge (switches, access points, gateways) + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment + Excellent customer service and communication skills **Experience:** + Minimum 1+ years of IT configuration, deployment, or desktop support experience + Experience with hardware configuration and deployment tools + Preferred: Experience in an MSP or high-volume deployment environment + Preferred: Proficient in using Autotask or other ticketing systems + Preferred: Background in hardware repair or troubleshooting **Education:** + High School Diploma or GED required + Associate’s Degree or higher in IT-related field preferred Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
