Role Description
The Risk and Compliance function exists to enable the FNZ Group to safely achieve its strategic objectives and protect value; to support the growth and delivery of services and propositions to the quality our clients and regulators expect.
This role has been created in order to:
Reporting into a Risk and Compliance Senior Manager or Head of Function this post sits within the second line of defence (2LOD) risk and compliance function and can shape the risk and compliance approach within FNZ. This role will provide insight, oversight and challenge on risk and compliance matters.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Assist in the maintenance and execution of the risk and compliance processes within FNZ and contributing to the ongoing development and achievement of business objectives.
Assist in the provision of support, and where necessary challenge and oversight to key business stakeholders in their implementation or adherence to FNZ’s Group Risk Management Framework.
Assist in the execution of an effective risk/compliance assurance programme.
Provide support for business-critical internal change projects.
Support relevant Client and Board reporting on the effectiveness and efficiency of core risk management processes.
Provide risk and compliance support and oversight to product/service development and proposition developments.
Preparing and collating monthly Risk and Compliance Management reporting to Regional Committees and Boards.
Assist in the preparation of an effective, risk/compliance-based monitoring programme.

Where required, carry out staff performance reviews, identifying staff development and training needs and devising development programmes
Ensuring practices are compliant with relevant regulatory bodies’ expectations

Exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views
Experience Required
Primary requirements
Significant experience in a risk and compliance role, ideally within a platform environment
Detailed knowledge of relevant regulatory obligations
Strong knowledge of industry risk and compliance best practice
Professional or industry qualification
Excellent communication, relationship management and influencing skills
Ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
Ability to analyse, present and report risk and compliance information to senior stakeholders
Secondary requirements
Ability to take ownership for workload and is proactive in approach
Is flexible to change and is adaptable to situations
