Description: **ABOUT THE ROLE** Lafarge Construction is seeking a **seasonal, full-time Concrete Finisher** to join our team in Saskatoon, SK. This role is responsible for placing, finishing, protecting, and repairing concrete on various road construction projects. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality workmanship while maintaining safety and efficiency on-site. **WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH** + Apply curing and sealing compounds to protect finished surfaces. + Place, level, and finish concrete surfaces using hand and power tools + Install expansion joints and edge concrete structures. + Interpret blueprints and specifications to meet project requirements. + Identify and correct imperfections to achieve a smooth finish. + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving, and adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Education:** High School Diploma or equivalent **Required Work Experience:** Minimum 2 years of experience in concrete finishing **Required Training/Certifications:** Valid Class 5 Driver’s License **Required Technical Skills:** Ability to use various concrete finishing tools, knowledge of mix designs and setting times **Travel Requirements:** Knowledge of the City of Saskatoon and surrounding area **Additional Requirements:** + Proven ability to follow safe work procedures and complete field risk assessments. + Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including bending, kneeling, and lifting heavy materials. + Must successfully pass a pre-employment medical assessment + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim-approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to respirators.
