Concierge-JLL
What this job involves:
We are seeking a professional Concierge that will support our client’s world headquarters in Reston, Virginia. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of local businesses, entertainment venues and travel options. We’re looking for a Concierge who understands the value of excellent customer service. The primary responsibilities of this position are greeting and check-in of customers and guests into the Visitor Registration System. This will include creating and issuing photo ID and access control badges to contractors and visitors, ensuring the security of the building and being the face of the company. Candidates are expected to present a pleasant and professional impression to all guests, be highly organized, dedicated, and able to handle a variety of duties simultaneously.
What your day-to-day will look like:
Welcome and badge guests while manning the front desk with professionalism.
Handle incoming calls by directing them to the proper departments.
Provide general office support and coordinate conference room bookings for clients.
Process maintenance requests and collaborate with the Conference Services team on special events.
Guide visitors throughout the building and follow up with guests who need additional assistance.
Complete required training programs and maintain an organized, well-stocked reception area.
Work flexible hours within core building operations from 7 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications:
Candidates need three or more years of receptionist or hospitality experience with a high school diploma, though college coursework is preferred.
Previous administrative work at a busy front desk along with pleasant phone skills and knowledge of local attractions is highly valued.
The role requires excellent customer service abilities and flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for professional interactions with guests and colleagues.
Applicants must demonstrate solid organizational abilities, a positive problem-solving mindset, and capacity to handle multiple tasks independently.
Technical proficiency in PC platforms and Microsoft Office Suite including Teams is required.
Professional appearance and adherence to company dress code standards are mandatory.
