As a Concierge at Charles West, you'll be the face of our luxury residential experience, reporting directly to the Leasing and Resident Experience Manager. Your role is pivotal in creating an exceptional living environment by providing personalized assistance and ensuring resident satisfaction. You'll be the primary point of contact, championing the resident experience and consistently exceeding expectations.
We are hiring three team members for the front lobby Concierge desk. The desk is open from 7am-11pm, seven days a week including holidays. Candidates need to be available to work various days and hours during the open hours and and the team will rotate among a set shift schedule.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Resident Experience Enhancement:
Deliver proactive, courteous, and tailored service to current and prospective residents
Anticipate, support and fulfill resident needs, from daily requests to special arrangements, including support with Property Management Software/Resident Portal access and training.
Maintain expert knowledge of local amenities, services, and events
Manage amenity bookings, deposits, and post-event inspections
Assist with resident events and smooth move-in processes for new residents
Personalize interactions by familiarizing yourself with residents and their pets
Concierge Services:
Coordinate special services (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning)
Handle package and delivery management
Respond promptly to all resident communications (calls, messages, inquiries)
Maintain shift logs and daily memo books with pertinent information
Support leasing staff with prospective resident greetings and showings
Building Operations Support:
Manage service elevator and loading dock schedules
Control building access for contractors and visitors
Administer security access devices (cards, fobs, transmitters)
Maintain enterphone system and security software
Liaise with security personnel as needed
Community Engagement:
Build positive relationships with local businesses and service providers
Gather and share community information for resident benefit and social media use
Assist in organizing and executing resident events
Guest Suite Management:
Oversee and administer the building's guest suites
Manage guest suite bookings and reservations
Coordinate cleaning and maintenance of guest suites
Ensure guest suites are properly stocked with amenities
Handle check-in and check-out processes for guest suite users
Address any issues or concerns related to guest suite usage
Maintain accurate records of guest suite occupancy and revenue
WHAT YOU BRING:
2+ years of experience in luxury residential concierge, high-end hospitality, or premium customer service roles
Post-secondary education in hospitality management or related field preferred
Exceptional communication skills with a focus on discretion and confidentiality
Strong organizational abilities and adept at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office suite; experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi) is an asset
Current First Aid, CPR, and defibrillator certifications (or willingness to obtain)
Available for evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Capable of moving objects weighing up to 10 pounds
