Concept Trend Designer, Amazon Private Brands
Description The Concept & Trend Designer facilitates influencer collaborations, marketing activations, and seasonal trend research, concept and implementation. Working hand in hand with Marketing APB and Marketing NASM, this role helps create products that secure optimal placement opportunities. The position serves as a crucial bridge between product design and marketing teams, coordinating development initiatives and ensuring concepts effectively translate from initial design through Detail Page imagery and Marketing content. This role is essential in driving our creative vision and keeping products at the forefront of fashion trends. A key focus includes curating and styling product selections to enhance content, customer experience and brand recognition through outfit and styling guides aligned with brand guidelines. This role reports to the Sr Global Art Team Manager. Key job responsibilities - Support Amazon Private Brands influencer collaboration, Special project, Product Category refresh concepts by identifying trend-right themes, product ideas, and storytelling opportunities. Build concept decks and color palettes, support with comp shopping and outfit styling. - Liaison with Creators Team to coordinate influencer collab collections, events & meetings. - Partner closely with Design and Marketing to drive outfitting curation, and seasonal storytelling. This includes but is not limited to influencer collabs, A+ marketing activation/HVE/NASM. - Create quarterly style guides to inform Marketing and Studio Imaging teams - Influence product assortment through Airtable inputs to ensure a cohesive brand visual identity across the range, helping elevate the brand and maintain consistent design language - Gather and analyze trend data, social/market insights, and forecasting tools (e.g., WGSN, xx) to inform design development across all categories. Partner with PD and PBI to identify mechanism to intake trend data into assortment recommendation tools. - Identify seasonal color and silhouette opportunities to chase, with a focus on teen refresh and trend responsiveness. About the team The Art team is a creative powerhouse within Amazon Private Brands, delivering innovative print designs across our growing portfolio of private label brands. As a centralized service, we manage all aspects of the creative process - from trend research and concept development to color management and print design. Working collaboratively across product categories, we combine creative excellence with data-driven insights to create compelling products our customers love. Basic Qualifications - 3+ years of design experience - Have an available online portfolio - Experience in Adobe Creative Suit applications, with high proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat using macOS - Bachelor's Degree Preferred Qualifications - Knowledge of branding guidelines and corporate identity, visual design, print and digital layout design - Extended experience in fashion trend analysis, and product development - Proficiency in trend forecasting and analysis - Understanding of product lifecycle and go-to-market strategies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with various teams - Experience in working with cross-functional teams (Design, Marketing, etc.) - Project management and coordination skills - Strong understanding of social media trends and influencer marketing - Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects in a fast-paced environment Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
