The Computer Operator V is responsible for the functions of the Fort Bragg V2X Information Technology (IT) Section, technical operations, support of assigned computer systems and related peripheral equipment, applications and other operational tools, software and devices in support of all departments assigned to the contract. Analyzes and resolves computer hardware/software problems. Responsible for validating, documenting and reporting the status and location of all assigned automation equipment. Oversees the initiation requests for Baseline NIPR and SIPR accounts for assigned contractor personnel.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
+ Serves as a Point of Contact for the Program’s Information Technology (IT) Section.
+ Serves as an IT Technical Expert and provides over-the-shoulder assistance in support of the contract as required.
+ Develops and maintains SharePoint sites as required in support of the contract.
+ Analyses, validates, tracks and helps resolve automation hardware/software issues.
+ Ensures applicable Contract Deliverable Requirements are prepared, analyzed, and submitted in accordance with the PWS requirements.
+ Maintains details worksite schematics to depict the location of all networked automation equipment.
+ Schedules, conducts, documents and reports regular inventories of automation equipment assigned to the contract.
+ Drives GSA vehicle to transport equipment and conduct other official business.
+ Ensures contractor email account requests are prepared and submitted.
+ Oversees the initiation requests for Baseline NIPR and SIPR accounts for assigned contractor personnel.
+ Ensures users receive initial training required to access government information systems.
+ Monitors and assists with required software updates for all assigned computers.
+ Cross trains team members to help ensure full coverage and support.
+ Utilizes (Theater Unified Ticketing System (TUTS) to submit request for new Active Directory account, deletion/reactivation and computer issues as needed.
+ Uses proper property accountability procedures to account for equipment.
+ Processes DD Form 2875 System Access Requests as required.
+ Routinely reviews and updates established procedures and Work Instructions.
+ Conducts New Hire IT Briefings for new employees and internal transfers as required.
+ Determines and implements automation setup requirements.
+ Performs and assists with other duties as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager.
+ Job duties and responsibilities may change due to contractual requirements.
MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
+ General office equipment: Computers, Fax, Copier, Printer, Multi-Function Device (MFD), Multi-line Phones, Cell phone, Two-way radio and Personal computer systems
+ Microsoft Office Programs, to include other pertinent software and general office equipment.
+ Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas.
+ Use Government Furnished Vehicle.
+ Comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
+ Duties are generally conducted in an administrative environment; however, occasionally involve working outside with a potential exposure to various temperatures and inclement weather.
+ Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. PPE includes but is not limited to hard hat, steel toes footwear, eye protection and hearing protective devices.
+ Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
+ Functions in an office environment in a stationary position approximately 50% of the time or more.
+ May be required to lift 25 pounds, unassisted.
+ May work in confined spaces and at heights.
+ Should have good enough eyesight to properly read small data plate information on equipment.
+ May be exposed to regular lifting, stooping, balancing, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, sitting and standing while conducting assigned duties.
+ May be exposed to inclement weather, extreme temperatures, humidity, blowing sand and dust.
+ May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in certain areas.
+ Extended or flexible operating hours may be required, when approved.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
+ Associate’s/Technical Degree or relevant equivalent experience.
+ Advanced training in Microsoft 365 Products, preferred.
+ Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, preferred.
+ Must receive and maintain favorable results from a NACI background investigation.
+ Must remain eligible for a Common Access Card (CAC).
+ Must be able to maintain a valid Real ID state driver’s license.
+ Must be able to maintain the driving privileges on the Fort Bragg Military Installation
EXPERIENCE:
+ 1-year of related intermediate-level computer operator experience is preferred.
+ Must have effective organizational, analytical, written and oral communication skills.
+ Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
+ Ability to prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and interact at all levels.
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision, and in a collaborative team-based environment.
+ Customer service experience is required.
+ 6-months administrative background within a multi-functional office environment.
SKILLS:
+ Proficient skills with Microsoft 365 Products, SharePoint, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI, and Adobe Pro.
