The Opportunity:

Make a difference; join our team! CACI has an upcoming opportunity to support the United States Army Counterintelligence Command (USACIC) with strategic, operational, and tactical counterintelligence analysis support. In this exciting opportunity you will combine computer science with forensic skills to recover information from computers and storage devices and analyze data to evaluate its relevance while directly supporting USACIC’s primary lines of effort (LOEs). This will include using your expertise to protect computers, conduct testing and evaluation of emerging trends in digital forensics software and hardware, and assist to develop new and innovative forensic processes and procedures. Help assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security challenges that will help USACIC conduct global counterintelligence activities against U.S. adversaries to protect the U.S. Army and the Department of Defense.


Responsibilities:

Perform all phases of the forensic examination of digital media, including on-site and off-site activities.

Conduct evidence acquisitions/seizures, forensics analysis, and reporting

Ensure maintenance of chain of custody, provide support to incident response activities, intrusion events, and malware analysis

Write technical analysis and forensics reports, provide framework and architecture assessments and assist in policy document development, as required.

Recover data, hunt for data, and conduct technical analysis


Qualifications:
Required: 

TS/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph security clearance

High School Diploma + 20 years of relevant experience, Associate degree + 16 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree + 15 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree +12 years of relevant experience

2+ years of host-based forensics experience

Must have DoD Certified Digital Forensic Examiner (DFE) qualification

Must hold one of the following active certifications: Certified Forensic Computer Examiner (CFCE), GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE) or EnCase Certified Examiner

2+ years of mobile device forensics experience

Demonstrated technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to complete work independently and/or as part of a team


Desired:

Certification through the International Society of Forensic Computer Examiners (ISFCE) or the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS)

Prior experience supporting U.S. Army and/or Department of Defense Counterintelligence operations

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$131,800 - $290,000
