Role Summary
As a Compressor Seal Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving Aftermarket sales for compressor seals & systems. Your responsibilities include selling replacement seals, spare parts, repair services, field services, seal & system upgrades, engineering solutions, and retrofits.
Drive Aftermarket compressor seals services and solution bookings to meet or exceed assigned goals. Maintain regular and planned communication with key customers. Develop and implement marketing plans aligned with regional sales objectives. Serve as the primary contact for customer dealings, addressing proposals, deliveries, repairs, quality, and warranty claims. Educate customers on the quality, features, and applications of Flowserve products using available marketing materials. Collaborate with application engineers, customer service, and manufacturing teams to meet customer needs. Maintain organized records, including reports, quotes, status updates, and expense logs. Demonstrate financial acumen by discussing business decisions, such as return on investment, to support solution-based selling. Ensure effective communication and productive collaboration with team members. Perform occasional physical activities, including walking large customer sites, and navigating multi-story facilities. Other duties as assigned.
Your Role
- Sales experience with turbomachinery equipment, such as compressors and compressor seals. Technical Know-how and experience within turbomachinery field, O&G industry, and petrochemicals industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent product demonstration, presentation, and business writing skills. Ability to work independently and efficiently while maintaining effective communication. Experience in conducting root cause failure analysis and effectively communicating findings. Demonstrated ability to lead meetings, set agendas, and assign follow-up actions. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering Familiarity with the oil & gas, , , and Petrochemical industries, including API 617 and API 692 Standards. Training in sales techniques, negotiations, and business finance. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Project management experience is a plus

- BS or BA Degree in relevant field and 5-7 years relevant experience
